Microsoft TechEd Australia held from Sept 2-5, 2008, was a great success for Kenetics. As the main RFID hardware sponsor for the event, we deployed a total of 55 readers and 128 antennae, which were mounted at strategic positions to track more than 3000 delegates at over 30 break-out sessions and 2 exhibition halls. .

By utilizing Microsoft Biztalk RFID, SQL Server and SilverLight, the captured RFID information is sorted and filtered according to process rules laid out in Biztalk. The RFID information is then linked to the Delegate Profile database via SQL server, where the delegates profile were pulled up. Certain information such as their names can be displayed along with vivid graphics in real time with Silverlight.

Since the RFID system is capable of differentiating incoming and outgoing delegates, it allows Microsoft to know how many delegates have been to and the length of stay at each session. Such valuable demographics will enable Microsoft to further fine tune their future tech-eds to better cater to the evolving needs of the delegates. It can also empower the presenter/speaker with useful statistics such as the delegates interests, job nature, where they came from, and even what type of music they listen to!!!

This novel combination provided an unprecedented amount of real time information with over 500 thousand tag reads over 3 days, providing numerous data mining possibilities and with this, endless opportunities.

RIDEX 3rd RFID Solutions Expo Tokyo, Japan (14 MAY 2008 - 16 MAY 2008)
 
Kenetics participated in Ridex, the 3rd RFID solutions expo, in Tokyo, Japan, from May 14-16 2008. As one of the main RFID events in Asia, the buzz and feedback we have received were tremendous.

Showcasing one of our latest leading-edge products, Volaré UHF-USB, which is currently the smallest GEN 2 UHF Reader in the world, our booth was perpetually packed with attendees and media. Our other UHF and HF products also stand out a notch above our competitors due to their compact size and high performance.

The positive feedbacks we received from the attendees affirm Kenetics’ position as one of the industry’s leaders. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to those who have visited our booth. We look forward to continuing working together to build the RFID market.

The RFID Journal Live! 2008 trade show, held from 16 – 18 April 2008 in Las Vegas, was a huge hit for us this year.

RFID Journal Live! has affirmed our believe that there will be rapid growth in the RFID arena with a myriad of new applications. CeBIT 2008 Hannover, Germany (4 MARCH 2008 - 9 MARCH 2008)

SMART CARD CHINA 2006 (30 MAY 2006 - 1JUNE 2006)
 
'SMART CARD CHINA 2006' which was held in China World Trade Centre, Beijing, China has become the largest and most influential international gathering for the smart card industry in Asia, This is where more than 150 smart card vendors from over ten countries including China (Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan), Germany, Italy, France, the U.S., Japan, Britain, Austria, South Korea, and Singapore signed up for the event.

'Kenetics' was at the event (Stand A07). The experience of having 2 RFID exhibitions back to back definitely is not easy for our China team. Just fresh from the SCSL exhibition in middle of May 2006, the team has only 2 weeks to prepare for this show. 'Kenetics' is proud to sponsor our RFID visitor welcoming system in the show. The experience gained from the earlier show helps the team to make this event a success.
 
   
 
SMART CARDS + SMART LABEL CHINA (17 MAY 2006 - 19 MAY 2006)
 
The event was held at Beijing Exhibition Centre Hall 9 to 11, Beijing, China

This is the first time 'Kenetics' participating in a show in China (Stand S045), since our newly founded China branch office. The Team brought the same demonstration idea from a recent RFID Asia exhibition held in Singapore, we are proud to sponsor the visitor welcoming system using the 13.56MHz RFID visitor pass. And we recieved great respond from the Chinese market.

The new China team have definitely put up a great show!
 
   
 
R.F.I.D. ASIA 2006 (26 APRIL 2006 - 28 APRIL 2006)
 
The show was held in Suntec Convention Centre, Singapore (Stand 4F09)

Other then participating in the show this year, we are also sponsoring the “RFID in action” for the show. 'Kenetics' introduced an application, utilising our EzScan-LRM and EzMultiX gates, to customize welcome message display for all visitors passing through the entrance. We are honoured to have Dr. Balaji Sadasivan, Senior Minister of State for Information, Communications and the Arts and Health using these products for the opening ceremony.

The team presented more than 5 unique applications in the show, which range from security, laundry logistics, gaming and retail. The respond was exceptionally good with visitors from Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, China, India and Europe visiting our booth showing potential interest.
 
   
 
CEBIT 2006 (9 MARCH 2006 - 15 MARCH 2006)
 
This event was held in Deutsche Messe AG, Hannover, Germany.

'Kenetics' participated in this global event held in Germany (Hall 2, Stand C10) for the first time. Being a unique part of the Singaporean contingent at the show, the team presented our products and services to visitors around the world.

Over 500 visitors visited our stand, which we presented some of our most unique products and solutions using 13.56MHz RFID.

This is the second year 'Kenetics' is participating in R.F.I.D World Asia held yearly in Suntec Convention Centre, Singapore (Stand 4H03B). The team is all out to present the RFID library themed applications specially create for this event.

The highlight of the show is the newly launched portable, 13.56MHz RFID reader, EzBee. This new product captured the attentions with its versatile and hassle free Bluetooth connection to any off-the-shelves PDAs or laptops.
